What is Stem Mastering?
Stem Mastering is actually a combination of finishing your mix and mastering.
In a traditional Mastering session, the mastering engineer works with one stereo mix file, which limits the amount of modification that can be made to the file.
In a Stem Mastering session, the mastering engineer works with multiple stems (stereo files), which allows the engineer to more easily access individual elements of a mix and allows for bigger adjustments.
You can book a Stem Mastering session for 2-8 stems (stereo files). For example, you can have one stem with bass, one with guitars, one with pads, one with vocals, and one with drums.
You decide how you want to organize your stems, how many stems you want, and which instrumental groups you want to have in the individual stems. Of course, you can consult your producer/engineer about this before sending your files.

Can I request changes after streaming my file(s)?
Yes! You can contact your producer/engineer directly from your account page while you’re listening to your track, and request as many tweaks as you like. Take your time, listen to different speakers, and let your producer/engineer know if you want any adjustments.
When you´re happy with what you hear, you easily approve your files and download them from your account page.
